Every year, IMG operators honor one of their own, by awarding one IMG motorcoach company the prestigious accolade of: Operator of the Year. In selecting the Operator of the Year, IMG operators nominate companies that they believe represent the core values of IMG - customer service excellence, commitment to safety, maintenance and training plus participate actively not only in IMG but the wider motorcoach industry.
IMG Spirit AwardReceived 2019
The IMG ( International Motorcoach Group) Spirit Award is given to the IMG Operator who displays the “spirit” of IMG philosophies, best practices and operations from a maintenance and safety standpoint and who demonstrates a leadership role that benefits fellow members and the IMG Organization.

In 2016 Vandalia Bus Lines was awarded METRO Magazines "Motorcoach Operator of the year" for its industry involvement, contributions and success in running one of the most well-regarded bus companies in North America.

President’s Circle award from TRAX has only been awarded to a handful of companies following a careful review and inspection of its safety procedures, policies and facilities, participation in risk management and safety workshops, compliance with OSHA regulations, and overall accident record. The award is only extended to those industry members who maintain a 90% or better safety rating.

In 2006 Vandalia Received the "Excellence in Motorcoach Service" Award from Harrah's Casion. This award is given to companies that demonstrate the highest levels of quality and provide outstanding transportation shuttle service for casino customers and employees.
TRAX Most ImprovedReceived 2004
TRAX Insurance LTD issues risk control awards each year to carriers who show a level of excellence in regards to safety and risk control efforts. Companies are graded on over operation including fleet and facility safety. In 2004 Vandalia received the award for most improved overall score as a percentage compared to the previous year.
